4. oh no, I like this stuff
But come on, I'm a nerd who eats, breathes, sleeps etc politics. But seriously, this stuff would put most people to sleep. It'll heat up when they get Deval Patrick, Hillary and Schweitzer going, but they put some dry people up early on in the day. As I have stated before though, I aspire to be a boring Dem Convention speaker at some point. I want to put Evan Bayh to sleep, that's how I roll!

5. These are real people, real Democrats
Yet a bunch of you are bashing them because they aren't entertaining enough? Why not just invite actors to play them then?

7. I'm joking
But yes, I think we should invite an actor to play them. Great idea. In fact, since you are so serious and offer such great ideas, I say you write that in for the next convention 4 years from now.

Dems can't make fun of ourselves? Since when? And I'm a real person and a real Democrat too. What the hell does that mean?

9. Not really
But a stick up somebody's ass is always a winner with people who take themselves too seriously.

10. It is easy for someone sitting in their home
typing on a computer to ridicule the speakers. Probably people who have never given a speech since the 5th grade.

11. well, I have given one since the 5th grade
Including in front of a conference and everything! And I was boring too, but in my defense, it was early in the morning and the 4th time I addressed the conference in a few days.

But see, since I am joking and making fun of the stereotype of boring political speakers, I don't think it really counts as ridiculing them. But glad you take yourself so seriously, let me know how that's treating you.
