Just got back from a county fair in Eastern Pa.
It was probably one of the best i've been to. Unfortunately, the GOP must have had a booth there, because I saw a lot of 'W is for women' signs. Really kinda made me wonder who could ever think that. His record and demeanor is very anti-woman (imho). What was more unnerving was the fact that the people displaying the signs, were for the most part younger women with small children.

On a good note, I did finally get a Kerry bumper sticker from the de's booth.

1. Yes, but did you get a funnel cake?
From what I've heard about the Muskingum Co, Oh fair, the dems registered about 100 more voters than the repubs.

Did they make you pay for a bumper sticker? In a lot of places, the dems are passing the cost for Kerry stuff on to the public.

At the Oh state fair, the repubs were giving out signs, bumper stickers, pins, pens, etc. The dems had a guy with a pad of paper asking for volunteers.

Our senate candidate, Eric Fingerhut is walking across Ohio. My first comment to that was: Geesh, poor guy can't even afford a bus!

On the good side, volunteers are working hard for Kerry. Phone banking is going strong in all the counties that I have friends in. I really think that Kerry will win in Ohio.

2. No money requested,
but they thought long and hard before they coughed it up.
