Tell me: are we beginning to see "Signs of hope"?

I see the mccain bumper stickers start appearing in abundance and I feel defeated.
Then I see a lone Obama sticker and my heart beats a little faster.
Yesterday I had to go for blood test and I saw it, there at the side of main street.
The message on the billboard sign in front of an area church reads something like this.

In the search for change
Often hope can be found

Are they just using Obama's words for their own purposes or have they got the message?
What do you think? Are we making progress in this crazy world?
Or am I just looking for signs of hope?

I'm thinking of moving to mexico because their economy will be better than ours in another 5 years. If they can keep the polls this close with all of that stuff that's happened so far then I don't have any hope.
