Please rate at Yahoo. coup de grace for "THE SMEAR"

LOLOLOLOL.

Here we have a guy who was a career military man. He's a rural (republican) Oregonian who doesn't particularly care for Kerry or his stand on the Vietnam War after he came back...BUTTTTT>>>

He supports Kerry's version of events and says Thurlow was probably too distracted to notice gunfire. He was rescuing guys from demolished boat, knocked into the water when his own boat ran aground, and then fished out by this guy.

So...he can contradict what Thurlow said in good conscience because he is also propping Thurlow up as a genuine hero. But he is sucking the wind out of the sails of Bush war room as Bush tries to quickly rid himself of this tarbaby and move to the convention. Bush will be asked and asked and asked about this.

This is hilarious the way it has gone down. And all it has done is cause the GOP guys to spend tons of time and money burnishing Kerry's war credentials. Too FUCKING FUNNY.

The other things Lambert does is point out the chronology. Kerry's boat is further down river. Mine detonates hitting one boat further upstream. He turns his boat around and heads INTO the firefight. Ends up saving several others including Rassman. And that's the way it was.

Corn always has something good to say, and makes his case convincingly.

4. It's the old story, however, how are those people with jobs, kids,
parents, commutes, and all their hundreds of tasks be able to find the time to dig for the truth? The liars operate on a level where the truth can't filter down far enough because of the obligations and limitations of time.

There is no time for long explanations - they need short comebacks and they have to make sure they know who it is that speaks and how authoraatitive they are.

6. yeah....I see what you're saying but I believe this is getting pretty fun
because now this story has gone from being a game-changing momentum shift away from Kerry after Democratic National Convention to being an albatross around his neck that he may try in the coming days to fling away from himself.

We'll see. I like it though because we haven't even gotten to the nitty gritty of the political season where we discuss issues and that jackass's record as the worst president ever.

10. I'm very disappointed to see a 2.x rating on this.
it is a linchpin in argument against these bitter old war vets and the connivin Rove and Bush bible study group.

They disown people who tell the truth about things that make them look bad.
