Will Kerry bashing at the RNC backfire?

Since 56% of the people believe * was behind the SV ads, do you think Kerry-bashing at the RNC will backfire? After all, a majority of people believe Kerry deserved his medals, he is a war hero while * didn't even bother to show up for the TANG he joined to evade actual combat. I think it may because Kerry bashing may become veteran bashing in many people's minds. How do you call a combat veteran weak and indecisive while maintaining that a flunked out irresponsible faux flyboy is wartime president material?

Or am I hoping for too much.......

It would have hurt us because W* had no further to fall. Picking on him would have made us look bitter, and petty.

The Repigs must bash Kerry relentlessly to make him look as bad as Bush. They will talk little of issues, or past accomplishments because they have very little credibility.
