"Clinton still won't tell her backers how to vote, but she will vote for Obama"
Sorry, I don't think that's enough.
Ms. Clinton needs to URGE HER SUPPORTERS to vote for Obama.
That's how it's done.
That's how it's always been done.
I think this says volumes about her never-ending grudge match.

19. In that case, she will take all of those who vote for her and turn them
over to Obama, for a unanimous decision. The point is moot.

25. 30% of Clinton supporter from the primary
Are not supporting Obama. Are you saying that 5.4 million of her "eighteen million supporters" were freeping the primary?

5. She has already urged her delegates to vote for Obama
What more can she do if they insist on voting for her? Ground them or something? Beat them up maybe?

18. I listened to every word. I never heard her tell anyone to vote for Obama. All I heard was a call
for unity.

It's not enough.

22. And I respectfully suggest that for some of you it will never be enough.
You have become so comfortable with your disdain and hatred of Senator Clinton that you refuse to acknowledge the efforts she has made on behalf of Senator Obama.

15. Hillary Clinton made choices in her primary campaign
All choices have consequences.

One of the consequences of the choice made by the Hillary Clinton campaign to throw the kitchen sink at Obama (a tactic generally reserved for general elections) is that she is inexorably tied to Barack Obama's success in the general election. Should Barack Obama win, it will be a good reflection on Hillary Clinton. Should Barack Obama lose, it will leave blame squarely at Hillary Clinton's feet.

There is no escaping these consequences. Now, she is faced with another choice...

17. RW talking points on DU AGAIN? Wake up.
Hillary has told her supporters to vote for obama as if their lives depended on it. she has told them to work for him. she has told them he is the only chance they have of getting this country back on track.

I see the videos of her speaking these words. Have you been watching them? they're on this site. I also called the Obama campaign yesterday re this baloney and got the same answer I later read in a press release. This is all bs. the media even admits they are fanning these flames.

It smells of rove to high heaven.

the repub had a party last night for the PUMAs to wine and dine them. the ad with the PUMA who turned out to be a republican....etc. the truth is there.

If you're going to repeat msm talking points, you might as well go right to the source. buying into this stuff like sheeple is an attempt to weaken the party. But it won't be weakened.

23. That's fine with me
The whole point of the roll call was so her supporters would have the chance to cast a symbolic vote for her. Let the process play out. I am glad she is sending a signal by casting her vote for Obama.

26. If I were Hillary, I'd be a bit more aggressive in my support of B.O.
After all, if the unthinkable happens and Five-plane wins, she (wrongly or rightly)will be blamed by many.

27. Enough with the infighting! Settle down, people, and do some good around here. MAKE A DONATION!
Make a damned donation to Obama today and stop all of this nonsense. None of this is helping anyone.

We all know what the score is. We all know feelings are involved. STOP FIGHTING!

I donated $1K through DU's Obama donation page stickied at the top of this forum.

I challenge ANYONE to match me today! That's hard-earned money, people. I could do a lot with a thousand dollars. And I'm choosing to help Barack continue the good fight for US, the DEMOCRATIC PARTY, and for the nation at large. C'mon, somebody match me!
