Thoughts on this idea for a campaign commercial
Was reading through Bartcop when I was reminded of the 2000 McCain smears, and thought of this one:

Open with a clip from one of the 2000 commercials (betrayed POWs, went crazy, etc)

Narrator: This is how the Bush campaign treated a decorated military veteran in 2000. Is it any surprise how they are treating another decorated Viet Nam veteran in 2004?


This does two things:
1. It reminds voters of the reasons they did not trust McCain in 2000, so that they may not trust him today.

2. It reminds voters of the pattern of smearing that Bush does to military veterans.

Thoughts?

don't think it makes for a good commercial. ;-)
