9. I thought the same thing

Last election cycle I noticed the same thing on C-SPAN. During many left leaning topics the screen would flicker but would miraculously clear up at the end of the program. I don't watch C-SPAN all that often but I saw this effect at least half a dozen times.

There was a tornado watch a little while ago. No threat to the Pepsi Center (as far as I know) but it might mess with the satellite equipment outside a little.

5. It's funny but at that same time I had a background viewer activate and cause an echo from hell

6. Yes, and then I switched from the Windows Media feed to the RealPlayer

...feed, and now it's fine.
