The alternative.... "A senile old man with his finger on the button"
That's how we need to phrase this Election....anything less can and will be hazardous to our Health!.

I don't want to live to see the results of losing this one....this current band of thugs in power has already taught us how fear motivates the electorate....let's get started.

2. I have some anti-McCain bumper stickers.
I'm just waiting for my Obama-Biden sticker before I put them in my back window. But there are some good ones!

John McCain: A fossil fool

Exxon Mobile Stockholders for McCain

John McCain: Like Bush, but Older

McCain: 100% Recycled Bush

4. probably won't be so effective
when you consider that we had a Pres. Raygun doing the same thing for 8 years.

Brinkmanship isn't considered suicidal by the neo-cons and their supporters. Their logic would be something like, "it's okay to have this demented ex-POW controlling the nukes, he might just frighten the Russians and the Chinese into behaving." There isn't much logic in this, but neither is neo-con ideology either.

I get the feeling that they really don't care if the world gets blown to smithereens, no one will be left to blame them.

6. You mean "an ANGRY, senile old man".
And before anyone starts talking about ageism, I'm a Boomer. Not all "old men" are senile, but McCain shows every sign of senility.

9. This whole "finger on the button" thing pisses me off

It's not like the president alone can decide when to use "nukular" weapons.

Presidents are political creatures, who live and die for public opinion. If there's ANY DOUBT whether the "button" should have been pushed, they know they're going to pay politically - and not just domestically.

After Hiroshima/Nagasaki, it's been the ultimate "threat" that America has against the world.

But actually USING it, EVEN MARGINALLY JUSTIFIED, will be an international crisis the likes of which will never have been seen before.

It may even be the end of America on the world stage as a viable force for peace.
