PUMA is a GOP Astroturf organisation, as credible as Ralph Nader

So, a heartfelt request, please refrain from using word "PUMAs" to defame those disaffected Democrats who may be still coming to terms with Hillary's loss. Some may never come back, at least not in this election cycle. That happens every primary. But PUMA is a front,'operation chaos II': Who exactly does "Party Disunity" benefit?

I shun the name. I won't give non-entities credibility. Some people saw, in the primary campaign, a continuation of the slander and sexism Hillary has incurred over many years. It was a primary. There were hard words spoken. No one understands that better than Hillary herself. For those still angry, you might remind them of the 'respectful' joke McCain told about Chelsea. The GOP are the masters of sexism, homophobia, and slander without boundaries.

I would venture to suggest none of us know PUMAs - people actively involved in the PUMA organization: Not friends, not family. When I see a Hillary avatar at DU, I think "Democrat". Yes, there are a few BENT typewriter warriors around HERE, but then again, did we ever really know them?

Our friends and relatives, who may be deeply disaffected, are not PUMAs, so don't slander them.

I know Iam an a blowhard non-entity too. All I can do is deny PUMA oxegen. I don't use the word in everyday life, and this is the last time I will use it here. There are many more apt, sharper words available.

I might consider "PUMA sympathizer", though. I'll let you know.

Have a nice day.

4. I agree with all of that.
However, there are some actual PUMAs creeping around DU still. They post their lies and smears here under the guise of "concern" then run back to pumaland and congratulate themselves on how clever they are for causing disruption here.

I do agree that they're not friends or family.

They're just republican filth.

6. Maybe so. But the Polls clearly show the only reason McCain is close is
the Hillary Supporters are either saying they will vote for him or are considered undecided.

It amazes me. But then again Democrats always cross over, costing us elections

Done!

They shall henceforth be referred to as "Hillarites".

Or does that hurt your feelings too?

9. Some of those PUMAs were disaffected Repukes who supported Hillary.
We shouldn't worry if they want to go home and vote for McCain. Obama will win anyways.

10. Kind of hard when they organize this way:

http://blog.pumapac.org/2008/08/19/beautiful-protest-and-rise-august-25th-in-denver-colorado/

Or are you saying that's a front organization set up by non-Dems to create disruption?
(It's a serious question, and I'd believe anything anymore as far as Rovian tactics go.)
