These polls being discussed by Matthews are wrong.
Any poll with a MOE of +/- 5% is trash. I love the Colorado and Arizona poll, but I don't believe it. A MOE of 5 is just way too high.

6. Mason-Dixon.
They ran in today's Salt Lake Tribune. Obama was down a few points in New Mexico and Nevada, down 6 in Arizona and leading by 3 in Colorado.

However, the MOE is too high. Generally you don't want to accept a poll with a MOE above 3.5%.

5. Old polls. Those M-D polls were in the field over a week ago.
That's a political lifetime.

7. I didn't see the date, but yeah.
Add in this and throw the results out the window. I would not be surprised if Obama is leading in Nevada, but losing Colorado.

9. Matthews wrong? This is news, why?
Matthews being wrong is SOP (standard operating procedure).
