Well, Barack stopped by for lunch today. We had barbecue.
Madashell, Sybilla & a few others dropped in, including Russ Feingold and Jim Doyle. It was a pretty nice time, all told.

1. Real nice out there, I hear.
My Union, the Ironworkers, has a call for people to go to WI right now for a big powerhouse job. I was thinking of going for a few weeks.

3. It was a beautiful day, about 75 degrees & mostly sunny.
The event was in a little, out-of-the-way park that belongs to the rod & gun club. They bussed us in & we had to go through security like at an airport on the way in to the event.

7. He thought Biden is a great choice.
(Well, what else he gonna say?), portrayed Obama as simpatico on the war & lots of other progressive issues.

Gubner Doyle was also there. What he said was something like "Blah blah blah jobs blah blah economy blah blah..."

9. That's me, two picnic tables to the left
and off the edge of the picture. I'm the one in the blue shirt.

11. That was nice of him
The man wanted a small barbecue and that's what he got.

I don't know what all the bitching is about.
