repeat after me..."Barack America" "Barack America".
The more we use those two names together, the more people will internalize it. Then they will realize that he is all about the promise of America and he is the embodiment of the American Dream.

Joe Biden is the most wonderful "gaffe" gift ever.

2. Yeah - a "good" gaffe.
Although not really a gaffe, everything Biden says in error will be characterized as such.

At least the didn't do the Ted Kennedy thing!

3. Yes, but the irony is that we associate things subconsciously.
So the more it is repeated, the stronger the association.

I guess the trick is to give it a positive emotion, rather than negative. Therefore, we have to take ownership of it.

Obama should joke about it...should say that Biden called him Barack America and he really liked it.

13. Agree - we should USE it.
I would have preferred if Biden had acknowledged it right then and there - and said "Barack America -- I like that! I''m going to keep it." or something like that.

17. I think it's the sort of thing that works best with those who are already really hardcore Obama
supporters.

After all, how would you feel about McCain supporters calling him "John America"?

Or, if Clinton had been the nominee, how would you like Clinton supporters telling you, "Repeat after me: Hillary America! Hillary America!"

Does that work for you?

Do you see what I mean?

It's like the campaign logo that mimicked the presidential seal. Only works for those who are already the most zealous supporters. Not likely to have the same effect on others, including supporters who aren't quite so zealous. "Barack America" might be a good chant for Obama supporters at rallies and get-togethers.
