5. Better watch out for the Young Republicans, too.

I know a guy in his mid-20s who got an internship with a Republican congressperson and was sent to DC for some kind of convention for up-and-coming young Republican "leaders." This guy was in a rock band for several years and had plenty of experience with drugs, alcohol and groupies. He said the stuff these guys were doing in DC was way worse than anything he had seen done by rock band members on tours - drugs, prostitutes, drunkenness, etc. So much for any chance of improving the next generation of Republican leaders.
