Anybody else just get whiplash?
Yesterday, John McCain said that Joe Biden, Obama's VP choice, was "the harshest critic" and "the leading critic" of Obama during the primary.

Today, John McCain said that Obama did not pick Hillary Clinton as VP, because she criticized him during the primary.

I wish someone would ask him to reconcile those two statements.

9. Seems to be Five Plane McCain's answer for everything these days.
At McDonalds:
"What would you like to order?"

"I dunno. I wish I'd had a Big Mac when I was a POW."

When he was in 3rd grade:

"Johnny, go to the principals' office."

"But I shouldn't have to. I was a POW."

How long until the MSM starts saying every time they refer to him:
"John McCain, former POW,.............."

5. There's another realistic possibility...
and that is that John McCain is totally full of shit
and doesn't know what he's talking about.

12. I posted a similar comment on a thread about the ad.
I know repukes throw ever thing to see what sticks and often the mudslinging has conflicting themes, e.g. Obama is a Muslim, he is a radical Christian Militant, but this one is really strange.

During a news cycle that is being dominated by the VP pick they have two conflicting messages. I would think even the most simple minded would say "huh?"

14. Does this mean McCain will choose Clinton?
I mean, if she was passed over, surely he would want to reach out and include her in his campaign, right? It's the only fair thing to do.

And if he doesn't, clearly it's because she criticized him during the primary.

16. Consistency? You want consistency?
Neocons don't need no steenking consistency. They create their own reality, dontcha know? So what if it contradicts what they said two minutes ago. They don't have that long a memory, and if you do have that long a memory, it just proves that you're an elitist.
