She got millions of votes and nearly won the primary. She's the first woman to come this close to being the nominee and a lot of people look to her for her opinion. She is, even as just a Senator, a "star" of the Democratic party. I don't think this would "elevated" her status (she's already an important member of the party) or cause problems. It would knowledge that she is an important member of the Democratic party and a strong supporter of Obama. It's a great idea to have her do an ad with Obama.
