On Fox News’ Your World, host Neil Cavuto defended John McCain’s inability to recall the number of homes he owns by attacking critics who have sought to highlight McCain’s failure. He opened the segment by asking, “Well, instead of slamming McCain, is Obama really bashing the American Dream?”

When there are Americans who don't even have one house or apartment to live in, yes it is excessive for some to have so many houses.

The only American dream there is, is the dream of winning the parental lottery and being born into a privileged family. It is a fantasy sold to Americans to keep us working at jobs we despise to pay for a home that many will never outright own. Also, owning private property such as a home is one means that the ruling elite get the working class to identify with those in power and to think they have the same interests.
