With McCain it's pretty easy.

3. I disagree. If McCain picks someone who was OBVIOUSLY selected to balance a weakness, it only
reinforces that weakness. If McCain's running mate is not selected to give the ticket a false glimmer of youthfulness, the pick won't highlight McCain's age. Maybe Obama's pick of Biden will embolden McCain to go after the Indian American vote, and Jindal makes McCain seem ancient.
