My absolute favorite Biden video

and one of the best political speeches I've ever heard. This speech won over a republican who had a very low regard for Biden up until I showed him the speech.

This was Biden's speech in March 2007 to IAFF. He got five standing ovations.

He was the last candidate to speak and even though people were tired, he got the most applause. He and Dodd were the only ones to receive standing ovations.

Twice.

He had a hook at around 20 minutes in on federalism and history that really drew me in deep. I like orators who can take highly detailed subjects and express them intelligently and clearly the way he did there. I don't mean this as a slam, but Gore should take notes. Biden knows how to be an intellectual and get his message across to anyone who is listening.

Sent that to a few friends who haven't been too pleased with the Biden choice. They all look for the same things I do, and I'm sure they hadn't seen that. I suspect this video created several more enthusiastic voters today.

When Biden explains something, I really get it. I've had a lot of people say the same thing. Following Biden on the campaign trail was actually an education for me. It is a rare gift to be able to communicate complex subjects so clearly.

Obama just fucked the GOP with his Joe Biden Choice....I suspect he was one of the most feared of all the candidates...of course its in the best interest of the GOP to try and kill off the the best by supporting the second tier...this they did by crossover voting in IOWA.....not realizing that Obama was and is the best in terms of Freshness and Change....and now, one year later, finds that Bidens Back...teamed up with Fresh Promise to morph into a COMBO of winning with higher odds....the GOOPers are going....WTF did we do?....and of course since they went with McMilitary...they have stymied themselves with McSame....
