I really am. I'm already receiving these voting notices and I know they are nothing more than caging tactics. What can be done before the election to make sure these bastards don't try to rip it off. They CAN'T win, so they will try to steal it. What can be done? Should the candidates themselves start openly talking about the possibility of theft and to make sure they are right and tight at the election board? Speak to me.

2. Edit: Okay I see what you're saying.

I'm talking about straight out stealing votes on a wholesale across the board level AND actually having cops out in the street and challenges at the polls OPENLY and without any fear of being seen as thieving criminals.

10. Cops will never get involved here in Ohio....
Not in the big cities. They don't have the time nor the resources because of GOP cut backs. Ironic, don't you think...

5. Ok. Does FL still have electronic voting machines and are they in proper working function
in predominately black communities?

4. They've been doing this since 1933 ...

Why stop now?

GOTV. Take people to register. Take people to the polls. Come armed with the numbers of election watchdog groups. (They will be numerous and well-staffed come election day.) Only we can stop the bastards from preventing people from voting.

6. They Can Always Declare a "Terra Alert" If They Need to Clear Out the Poll Watchers
It worked so well for them in Ohio in '04, we will likely see more fake "terra alerts" to clear out the poll watchers while they change votes.

7. but 5 of those 7 states have Dem governors...
Not that it's something to ignore or dismiss out of hand, but it's not going to happen like it did in FL and OH.

but there will be too many of us going to the polls to stop history from being made.

12. Redstate............ LISTEN UP.....................

Every single state that you've listed ---------- With the exception of only two of them -------- now have DEMOCRATIC Governors.

Don't worry.

2006 has changed a LOT of things!

13. My fantasy
Wherever they've got white observers to intimidate and hassle at heavily black polling stations, match it with black observers at a rich suburban white polling station. Wouldn't work of course, since cops would arrest the latter. But I can fantasize, can't I?

19. Ohio should be better than in 2004
The thieves are out of office in Ohio and our secretary of state is doing an awesome job. Not to say there couldn't be Diebold interference but they are on notice.

20. The Obama campaign
sent out a call for lawyers to be ready to take on any election day irregularities. I think they are making every attempt to stay one step ahead of those who would commit fraud.

We shall see.

21. I am a NTL in Ohio and one of the best things you can do if is to make sure you vote early.
Get as many people as you can to vote early. You can start voting in Ohio on Sept. 30 and Sept. 30-Oct 6 you can actually register and vote at the same time.

Get as many there as you can!
