Holy shit! I've watched him off and on for 10 or 15 years I guess. I've never heard him talk like that about McCain, Bush, Rove, et al. Well done sir!

22. The podcast will be available too
not sure when, but probably within 24 hours

I don't have cable, and if someone reads this thread a couple of days from now, it will be there too.

I bet somebody posts the video online soon, too.

27. Nope, it got scrapped in favor of a second hour of Hardball.
The decision must have been made at some point this afternoon because Tweety was plugging it when he left the air at 4 ET.

No idea why.

Oh, and there's ANOTHER special Hardball TOMORROW.

8. Let's see if I can get it close
Talked about how Biden came out swinging and "hand cuffed McCain to GWB like Popeye Doyle handcuffs a street thug." HAHA

"if you vote for McCain you're saying 'three cheers and keep it up boys' to the Karl Roves who claim that any opposition is treason or appeasment..."

"tough stuff but it's what a lot of Democrats say is what's needed to counter all the stuff coming from the Republican side."

20. yes, Popeye Doyle
if you haven't seen the French Connection, or the French Connection 2 with Gene Hackman, it is now mandatory viewing.

I don't think John McCain would catch the guy in the end.

5. He is hitting McCain and the Republicans HARD.
He LOVES Biden, in part, because of his Scranton roots.

Matthews loves PA.

24. Chris Matthews grew up in a PHilly neighborhood..
If you get Joe Biden, Eddie Rendell and Matthews together,
you have the equivalent of an IRish wake..'cept that Rendell is Jewish,
but what does that matter with old neighborhood guys..?

6. I didn't hear it, but honestly Matthews worships Obama.. he's on our side.
I'll have to catch it later tonight.

I'm just not surprised. Chris said he gets tingles down his leg when he listens to Barack.

I think this is just the beginning. It's pretty obvious he's on our side.

Who is this guy? He loves the Biden pick. Wait, isn't Chris Matthews Irish? Or maybe it's because Biden is a dominant manly man?

12. Tweety likes Biden personally
and it is clearly affecting his slant on things. They're both PA guys with working class roots. Does anyone know if Tweets is Irish? Maybe that has something to do with it as well.
