Ugh, these are Yahoo's "Top Stories" as listed on my email's front page
Edited on Sat Aug-23-08 05:28 PM by Godhumor
"Obama Introduces Running Mate Biden (AP)"

"Biden's Career Provides Grist for McCain's Mill (AP)"

"Biden Brings Agile Mind, Loose Lips to Ticket (AP)"

"Analysis: Obama's Pick Highlights His Weaknesses (AP)"

"5 Things the Biden Pick Says About Obama (Politico)"

"Obama Must Use Convention to Regain Momentum (AP)"

That's about as slanted of a "Top Stories" page as I have ever seen.

Edit: Wow, talk about timing. The "Analysis: Obama's Pick..." has been removed and replaced with "Analysis: Biden Fills Attack Role (AP)". I can sure pick when to start a new post...

5. I think it is more of an AP thing, and Yahoo gets its news from them, primarily
But that was about as unsubtle as you can get.

9. Well, I don't think that Yahoo is forced to run AP stories...
Apparently they prefer AP stories, which means they must agree with them, no?

3. It's "Alice in Wonderland", topsy-turvy stuff, only the most unprincipled
individuals could collude in. Unfortunately, there is no shortage of such creatures in the media.

7. Notice that 4 of 5 of those are from the AP.
Ron Fournier is their Washington bureau chief--and his favorite pastime is sucking McCain's cock.

10. Yeah, like I said in a different post, AP isn't very subtle
The "Analysis: Biden Highlights Obama's Weaknesses" article was posted last night about 10 minutes after the Biden for VP leaked.

8. Obama-Biden-Biden-Obama
8 times either Biden or Obama is mentioned. McCain just once.

We're still dominating the headlines!
