I cannot fucking believe this McCain campaign "Freudian slip" BULLSHIT.

4146 U.S. soldiers killed in Iraq (http://icasualties.org/oif/)

An economy in which hard-working men and women must choose between heating their homes, putting gas in their cars, paying rent, or putting food on the table.

Jobs heading south at an alarming rate.

And this senile motherfucker's campaign wants to hammer Obama's "Freudian slip."

Fuck McCain, and fuck CNN for giving him the platform.

McCain camp seizes on Obama slip-up
Posted: 04:50 PM ET

From CNN Ticker Producer Alexander Mooney

The McCain campaign is seizing on Obama's slip-of-the-tongue.

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2008/08/23/mccain-camp-seizes-on-obama-slip-up/

(CNN) – Barack Obama accidentally introduced his running mate Joe Biden as the next president of the United States Saturday, a slip-of-the-tongue the McCain campaign is calling "Freudian."

“Barack Obama sounded as though he turned over the top spot on the ticket today to his new mentor, when he introduced Joe Biden as the next president," McCain campaign spokesman Ben Porritt said. "The reality is that nothing has changed since Joe Biden first made his assessment that Barack Obama is not ready to lead. He wasn’t ready then and he isn’t ready now.”

Another McCain aide told CNN Obama "slipped with the truth that his own experience is too underwhelming to be president."

The slip-up came earlier Saturday as the Illinois senator introduced Joe Biden for the first time as his vice presidential candidate, saying "The next president," before quickly correcting.

15. Ignore it. Folks aren't accustomed to saying, the 'next Vice President of the United States."
as they are the 'next President of the United States.' It's tellingly pathetic McSame and his band of Rovian henchmen focus on a meaningless verbal slip, but that's what they do and who they are.

They are scared sh*tless of an Obama/Biden ticket.

57. As Frank Rich said today, in a must-read column, the media pretty much ignores McCain's slip-ups.
Even McCain’s most blatant confusions, memory lapses and outright lies still barely cause a ripple, whether he’s railing against a piece of pork he in fact voted for, as he did at the Saddleback Church pseudodebate last weekend, or falsifying crucial details of his marital history in his memoirs, as The Los Angeles Times uncovered in court records last month.

14. This leads me to make a prediction.
As we've seen since 'Seven Houses' broke, the Rove wannabes that are working on McCain's response team (hell, the entire media shop, for that matter) are in way over their heads. They can't drop a response ad or even a press release without it sounding like a pissy second grader wrote it.

So I predict that McCain will cross the Final Frontier and bring Doughboy Rove in to run his campaign himself - and he'll probably do it before the Dem convention has wrapped up.

Desperate times call for desperate measures - and McCain is for sure feeling all-new levels of desperation about now.

All one has to do is pay attention to the CNN Ticker headlines to see CNN for what it truly is, another broadcast mechanism for right wing talking points. I refuse to visit their site because of this blatantly biased bullshit. The recent Cafferty file comments against McCain were a rare beam of light though the CNN smogfest.

That's the biggest one so far and it's a REPEATED one. Yet the media won't call him out on it. If you don't even know the difference between a Shi'ite dominated country like Iran and a Sunni-dominated organization like Al Quaeda, then how the fuck is it that you've been allowed to pass off the idea to the public that you are ready to deal with foreign policy?

And I saw how Biden handles himself against McSame. And all I can say is I LOVE THIS TICKET!

39. I caught the slip and wondered what some mean person would do with it.
They've got nothing else. Gotta keep smearing.

Made me mad that the cable news stations gave John Sidney McCain III's team so much free publicity for their next negative ad. I'm sure JSM III had a few ads ready to go too, based on different scenarios. They knew they could trust CNN and MSNBC to play the ad over and over as they filled up the hours of coverage time set aside for the announcement.

Gotta stop this thing of just putting a little TV-set frame around an ad then making it okay to play the ad over and over again. That was the big deal instituted a few years ago to show they were discussing an ad rather than just playing it full screen repetitions of yore.

Instead of just saying JSM III created a quick response ad... they play it over and over. Gee thanks fellas. Hope you'll play the quick response ad Obama's team sends you to play over and over when JSM III picks.

asked about aneurysms. The man confirmed that once they're repaired the probability of recurrence is negligible. She asked about Cheney's heart attacks and he said "Now that's an issue that stays with you forever". She ended that interview rather hastily. I laughed. BTW, don't tell anybody I was watching Faux.
