Dem pundits should say Bush will be up 10-15 points after convention
Dem pundits on tv should claim Bush will get a good showing from his convention and that they expect to see a Bush lead of at least 10 points or more. Say they think Kerry is going to be a clear underdog and Bush will be in commanding lead. Raise the bar for the Republicans just like they did to the Democrats before their convention.

1. yeah set the bar far too high....
he will get a minimal bounce but say 10 pts...and if he doesn't ask his talking heads "why didn't you get the bounce that was predicted"
not going to happen because the media was playing that bounce card for Kerry..and he did in fact get a nice bounce..that went UNREPORTED

Kerry did get a bounce but it took time to show and then the media never covered it.

But hopefully the Dems can turn the expectations game around on the Repubs and play the same trick.

2. Maybe

With all the pro-choice, moderate, pro-environment people they will have up there...No wonder they will get a bounce. Hell, I may even vote for him after this dog and pony show

(Disclaimer: Joke...No way in hell will I vote for Scrub)

3. GREAT IDEA!!!
I heard Kerry say something of a similar vein the other day (on the Daily Show I think). Kerry said the President is a good debater. He won all the debates in 2000. I think he was raising the bar for shrub too, and it's a good thing!

4. I'm going to laugh when he gets no bounce at all.

One thing about the media, they like a spectacle. And the spectacle of the convention itself will be small potatoes compared to what is going on outside of MSG.

6. Love The Low Expectations
Sorry, been down the rosy path too many times, this Democrat takes nothing for granted and goes each day as if Bunnypants has a 70% approval rating and polling 20 points ahead of Kerry. There's just too much at stake to either let up or become any shade of over-confident.

I sure as hell hope Bunnypants gets a 20 point bounce out of the RNC whorefest. It'll piss off or set off alarms in more people than it will please. Just because CNNservative says people love this regime, if they came out of their ivory tower, they'd see a whole different America than most of us do.

Six months ago there were just a few websites that offered any place to see and express contempt for this regime...now it's everywhere you look. It's becoming "cool" to make jokes about Bunnypants and either you get a joke back in return (also a good way to find a fellow Democrat) or just a blush or no comment.

To date, there's not a single person I know who voted for Gore in 2000 who will vote for Bunnypants today. I ask you do the same poll with your family and friends. Then see how many you run into that say "I voted for * in 2000, but I'm not going to now". I hear a lot of that these days. That's encouraging considering we won the election last time and with several million more well-placed votes, the Scalia court can't steal it.

We're getting down to crunch time soon. There will be a greater need to work the grassroots and do it with a fire in our bellies. Nothing gets my adrenelline flowing like overcoming the odds against an opponent who will cheat, lie, steal and do anything but tell the truth. That's a power we have and are now just starting to flex our muscle.
