1. It all depends on what the meaning of "in" is
For John O'Neill, "in" can mean "in" like it does for normal human beings. It can also mean 100 yards away. Or it can mean 50 miles away, like he claimed on "This Week" last weekend. "In" also varies in meaning depending on whether he said "in" 33 years ago speaking with his Dark Master, on a weekend, or on a weekday.

But at least O'Neill's not a goddammed flip-flopper!

3. And all he's lying about...
...is something totally insignificant like whether he is slandering a decorated Vietnam war vet who happens to be his obsessive target for more than 30 years. At least he never lied about something mortally vital like whether or not he had sex with a woman...

7. I was going to go there
That was the first thing that came to mind. May that sounded very much like Clinton.

2. "I was in Cambodia"
If I say, "Hey, I was in Canada today, near the border," what do I mean? It just wouldn't make linguistic sense for me to say that if I what actually on the American side of the border.

And you'd have to be even dumber to believe the "Oh, I was 100 yards away" crap, like there was a "Welcome to Cambodia" sign on the border with a rope across the river marking the border.

4. More lies
"I was in Cambodia, sir. I worked along the border," O'Neill is heard telling Nixon in a conversation that was taped by the former president's secret recording system. The tape is stored at the National Archives in College Park, Md.

In an interview Wednesday with The Associated Press, O'Neill did not dispute what he said to Nixon on June 16, 1971, but he insisted he was never actually in Cambodia.

"I think I made it very clear that I was on the border, which is exactly where I was for three months," O'Neill said of the conversation. "I was about 100 yards from Cambodia."

What part of "I was in Cambodia - I worked along the border" means "I was 100 yards from Cambodia?"

5. So which is it O'Neill? Did you lie to President Nixon years ago or
are you lying to the American public today? It's either one or the other...either way you're a liar.

Idiot.
