They stop in and deliberately stir stuff up in such a way as to pit Clinton-anti-Clinton DUers at each other. Here is a good example from last night, (sans the avatar but same idea):
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=132&topic_id=6709952&mesg_id=6709952The troll was tossed and the thread locked in rapid fashion by our mods. I offer it up as an example-I believe that this is a good demonstration of how they would divide and conquer the blogs and forums thereby causing damage to our run. I doubt that this troll had any love what-so-ever for Senator Clinton
My personal theory is that the right was desperate to see Senator Clinton on the ticket because they figured it would help energize the republican base. I have no real evidence of that theory and I have found some evidence which actually may refute this. I ghosted through the freep-republikkk last night, there were many posts which seemed to think that we DEMs had made a tremendous tactical error in NOT placing Sen. Clinton on the ticket. A second common theme over there held that the 3:00 text message was a deliberate slap in the face by Senator Obama to Senator Clinton for that 3AM phone ad she did during her run. (I think at best it was a snark reference to the ad but not meant in any way demeaning to Senator Clinton). I also noticed a few posts referring to what was actually going on here at the DU in their threads so I knew that there were freepers monitoring us. (As I was monitoring them)
