7. No not of him. There was a large crowd that started to gather at his house
but by then I was at home and asleep. And I got to the airport just in time to see him get in the plane.
But both his house and airport got large turnouts. At the Airport there was a large group of Union folks there to wish him off (I think it was AFSCME) but there was about 30 of them with green union t-shirts on.
6. I got a little misty when, on MSNBC, they were describing the scene.
They spoke of people on Delaware overpasses waving American flags, with signs reading "We love you, Joe!" and "Thank you Joe, for putting Delaware on the map!"
9. Thanks for your excellent coverage last night (early morning)
and I have to agree, the love Delaware has for Joe is making me misty eyed as I type! I am ecstatic that he will be our VEEP. CNN just said he has more knowledge of foreign policy thatn ANYONE in the United States. This from CNN!
19. Ok smartass - perhaps you should learn WHERE the tollbooths are
because for most of us Delawareans we really don't see tollbooths that often unless we're visiting Jersey or taking the 'easy' way down to the beach. I visited my family down at the beach last weekend and didn't pay one single toll. And very rare that Delawareans pay that stupid toll into Maryland, we get on 95 from Newark to Elkton.
