this is one of the best tickets I've seen in a long, long, time. So this is a call to all you true progressives to get behind this ticket and give it all you've got. Thank you for your time.

How'd the far right pandering and financial industry deregulation work out for you?

Doing well, eh?

9. Economically, I'm left of Karl Marx
And I think this ticket is great. A winner.

A few bad votes during 36 years of solid public service aren't enough to dissuade me from supporting a ticket that can finally put the neocons out of power once and for all.

This is a winner. If other progressives are serious about PROGRESS, it starts with beating McSame.

I'd like to hear your reasoning on why this ticket is so great. Not saying I disagree necessarily, to be honest I'm not sure how I feel about it at present.

11. Me too. Hard core lefty, true solid progressive.
This is an outstanding ticket. It was an excellent, intelligent choice by Barack. He will be as good as his cabinet choices, I have a lot of confidence in his judgement. I see it as an easy win in November.

I love this ticket. I am ashamed to say that I never looked into Senator Biden during the primaries but when I tested for who I was most like, Biden came in #2, right under Kucinich. I had to pay attention to him then.

This is a winning ticket; no matter who is running against them they've got this!

22. Not Sure What You Mean
Among activists in Texas there has always been a clash between liberals and conservatives going back to the days of Senator Yarborough and Gov Allen Shivers. Generally, here in Texas there are all factions from liberal to conservative. There are also all kinds of voters who are hard to put in one box. Many Hispanic voters are liberal on economic policies, conservative on social matters and very pro-military because of the history of Hispanic military service. In San Antonio ROTC is very popular in High schools that are found right in the middle of the strongest Democratic areas. There has always been a populist wind blowing in Texas which Jim Hightower took advantage of in the 80's. AFL-CIO has always been a very strong force in Democratic politics here in Texas. The most successful Democratic politicians in Texas are those who have been able to unite all of the different factions. Clinton won the popular vote in the primary and I think Biden will be very popular with those Clinton voters. Biden will be popular among all Democrats in Texas.

21. That would be you being wrong.
To me, anyone who has second thoughts about 3-way marriages involving at least one horse is a social moderate and anyone who's willing to actually read budget bills before voting for them is a fiscal moderate.

Biden receives a high score from the ACLU, he's decidedly pro-choice and he enthusiastically supports Obama. Also, he's NOT polarizing or divisive.

This is a terrific, energetic, passionate and determined ticket. These are a couple of people who want to see things change, and are far more committed to the country than to themselves.

We have an EXCELLENT ticket here. Really top-notch. Time to pull together and make it happen!

Obama can win with Biden beside him, and he will be receptive to a Progressive shift in Congress.

These two know how to get things done.
