This has been like three guys just chatting. I don't think they went to a break for about an hour. Just picking each other's brains. If you want a high quality discussion of the Biden selection turn on MSNBC.

2. Fineman: "Joe Biden is the anti-Dick Cheney." I guess Biden
won't be shooting anyone in the face. Well, it's a veep's choice.

4. Wonderfully, complimentary, just as the GOP starting shooting over junk.
Really, both our guys want non-partisan solutions affecting the world. I love this.

7. Except for comparing Obama to Bush...
Obama has VERY strong knowledge of foreign affairs. The only reason people think otherwise is because he's young. He's wiser than many of the other older Dems in Congress. Bush was fucking clueless and did need Cheney. Obama doesn't need Biden on the issues themselves, but rather in order to gain confidence with certain parts of the electorate and to defend Obama against McNopoly's attacks as well as to launch some good ones himself.

14. On the experience question...
...I think *any* Democrat would have chosen Biden. If McSame is going to run a war campaign, the best thing any of our candidates can do or could have done is pick the guy that other countries turn to when they want a reality-driven approach to foreign policy from an American perspective. Over the past eight years, when foreign leaders wanted to talk to an adult, they go to Biden. Obama is smart to do the same.

23. I agree...
I'm just saying Obama does not need Biden in order to understand foreign affairs. Bush NEEDED Cheney. The jackass didn't even understand how things work here in Texas, never mind in the U.S. as a whole or the rest of the world. Obama is very wise for a "young" guy. I love Biden but I am sick of people trying to belittle Obama on this. But whatever helps get those voters into our corner, I'm fine with. And I believe Joe will be an excellent attack dog as well as a great campaigner. He has a ton of energy and can connect well with people.

Tweety would have been yapping nonstop, interrupting, and suggesting themes that are off the wall.

They really need to ship Tweety off.
