Hannity Blockheads laughing it up on Biden
Edited on Sat Aug-23-08 12:29 AM by Bleedstreet
Liberals, once again a day late and a dollar short.

Kerry + Lieberman would have been a sure win but y'all blew that one.

Obama + Clinton would have assured you a Whitehouse win too, but alas, again Epic fail.

Free beers for your tears in November.

29. Do you have any evidence to support your assumption? Or is this just
more smoke? I'm sure Obama's well oiled machine, with it's internal polling, would have chosen Hillary if that were true. The only ones who still believe that Hillary would be an asset are the PUMA's.

30. Not likely
About 36 million Democrats voted in the primaries, half for Obama and half for Clinton.

That means that those 36 million votes by Democrats in the Democratic primary should go damn close to 100% for the Democratic presidential nominee in November, namely, one Barack Obama.

Right?

In addition, let's remember that Republican and Republican-leaning voters are disheartened and dispirited. Their numbers are low and so is their turnout. Millions of voters that in prior elections voted Republican in the past few cycles are now a) staying home, b)voting Obama, c) voting 3rd party, or d) not voting at all for president.

The relative handful of diehard PUMA-type Hillary-or-bust supporters that Hillary as Veep would bring over would be far outweighed by the numbers of re-energized Rebs rallying to McCain tsimply to vote down the Dreaded Socialist Feminist Evil Liberal Hillary Clinton. They would be whipped in to a frenzy by the reich-wing noise machine for one more swipe at the heartless Clinton family that stole the presidency from the poor Bush and Dole families, you see.

IMO, it's a net loss of votes for Obama.

13. Kerry + Lieberman? I don't see how that would have gotten us a win.
Edited on Sat Aug-23-08 12:30 AM by ryanmuegge
That sounds crazy.

There may turn out to be some truth in the Clinton thing.

Biden may not turn out to be too bad of a choice. He is an entertaining, interesting debater with a nice, plain-spoken style. He will probably get tagged as a "Delaware elitist," matching Obama as a "Harvard elitist."

Seems to me Limbaugh was really hoping against the articulate, outspoken no holds bar attacks of Biden on McCain.

19. Oh, they will have a lot of crap to use against him.
He has been around for a long time, and has been good, bad and a self promoter who has thrown others under the bus to make himself look good. People criticize Senator Kerry for misspeaking a couple of times. Biden does it all of the time. He can't help himself. OBama's money is going to be spent defending him, not the other way around. Biden is a bad choice.
