The ONLY thing my spouse and I agreed on politically was that Biden
is (was?) a bloviator, bordering on being a jerk at hearings.

That was over a decade ago before my dear CPA Republican (socially liberal, fiscal fascist) departed to the Great Mystery Beyond.

He would be guffawing now -- but he has not been here to see the wreckage wrought by the GOP and I am very happy with Obama's choice. Joe will forever have to live down his tip of the tongue blurts, BUT he has a good heart, good service and an awesome Bio and experience to provide excellent consul and service to an Obama Presidency.

1. He's sort of charming and self-effacing about being a bloviator, though
which makes it not so annoying... Loved his debate answer when asked if he's capable of being concise: "Yes."
