2. If it is Biden, yes indeed.
Not my first choice, which was a pipe dream anyway, but one of the best IMO.

3. Sounds good to me.
Biden, Clinton, Clark, Dodd and Richardson were the only sensible choices, in my opinion.

countries border what other countries.

Unlike a certain colleague of his from Arizona.

Biden wouldn't have been my top choice, but of those who it is said that Obama seriously considered, i think he picked the right one.

25. No, if my choice was distilled to a single word, the word would be "whatever".
"Bah" conveys a degree of disgust. I want to express simple disinterest uncolored by emotion.

nemesis of true political and social reform.

18. YES! The more I see them smiling together, I get a good feeling. And he's not only the
poorest member of the Senate, he has a son in Iraq and a very populist background. And I have no fear of his ability to attack McCain and his VP. I like it.

21. I have no opinion on Biden. I'm just happy that it isn't Bayh or Kaine.
Bayh because he sucks, Kaine because Virginia (one of two places I will always call "home") needs Kaine more than Obama does.

I'm not excited about Biden, but I'm not upset either.

36. I can't vote for a war voter.
That is the main reason I supported Obama in the primaries.

If he chooses an IWR voter, I can no longer vote for him.

Biden is not fit to be president, so I can't vote for the ticket.

34. Yawn. Could that choice be any more boring?
The majority of American voters want LIKABLE guys that they can relate to... Have we learned nothing of the faux cowboys that do so well in these elections??? We're addicted to losing. It was evident when we got Kerry as a nominee, Liberman as a VP choice, Dukakis, Mondale, the list goes on....

and if (providence forbid) necessary, it's easy to see Joe as POTUS, which is a consideration that a serious presidential candidate mulls over. I liked him all the way back in 1988.

43. I'm reasonably pleased.
I don't like everything he's done, but he's not anti-Choice, he's not anti-civil unions (although his vote on the DOMA deserves a punch in the face), he's fairly moderate, he's got the foreign policy credentials.

I still don't know if it's really truly true, but he is better than a lot of the picks.

He doesn't walk on water - hell, who does? - but he's pro-choice, pro-civil rights and while he voted for the IWR, he was also a pit-bull about the lies and mismanagement when the truth came out. We could do a lot worse.
