Sen. Biden is a fighter, and is also a very likable politician. One of the strongest Democratic figures in the country, no doubt about it. He knows how to take it to the other side. He can execute what the campaign has essentially failed to do: rough up the Pukes.

Can't wait to see Joe's VP acceptance speech. He's a very passionate speaker, and the speech will be a huge story that night.

A much better pick than Mittens Willard Romney will be for John McLame.

4. "Can't wait to see Joe's VP acceptance speech."
Where he rationalizes his war vote, along with the economic legislation that's put ordinary Americans in such good stead.

5. Biden's almost the worst choice I could imagine. Even a creep like Hagel would offer the counter-
balancing asset that he would be an out-side-the-box post-partisan choice who might bring some Repub votes.

Biden is pure status quo and says "I need an adult on the ticket."

It CAN'T be Biden.

7. I think Biden is the best choice of the available candidates.
Yes, I know what you're saying about the "adult on the ticket" thing, but I think Biden can find a way to finesse that. He has the least down-side and shows that Obama is serious about complementing his own strengths and weaknesses.

6. lol. Why would somebody ignore anybody on a message board?
I don't get it.

Anyway, it looks like it'll be Biden, but it hasn't been announced formally yet. Y'all never know. He could surprise us yet. I'm excited to see who it is.

8. Senator Joe Biden is the best way to go right now. The others don't really fit.

Caroline and Eric made a good call, even the doubters will see that.

9. Yeah, but he won't help him carry a specific state.

I can see the logic behind the pick, but I'm not sure how much it'll show up immediately on the electoral map. Maybe it nullifies the lack of experience bullshit.

12. I don't see any of the top contenders really carrying a state.
Maybe it's just me, but even with Bayh, I think Indiana is a very long shot.

Kaine would help with Virginia, but from what I understand he's wouldn't make it a "sure thing" like Warner would have. Sebelius won't bring Kansas.

Richardson brings NM, but we're getting NM anyway.

I want someone who will bring Missouri, Virginia or Ohio - in the bag. I don't see him/her.

11. I think Biden is my top (realistic) choice too, but, why do my Repuke co-workers hope for him too?
I don't understand. They just think he'll gaffe it up? Or are they lying as is their fashion?

My real top choice is and has been Mark Warner, who would deliver Virginia and move us forward with the politics of change, but he's out and Biden will kick some ass for us.

Just curious as to any hints as to why ditto heads hope he chooses Biden as well.

I'm hoping McSame chooses Lieberman. Boringest ticket EVER!
