I went to a campaign office today in Chicago

There was nothing going on. I'll continue to try back and call, just awaiting some direction.

I had a nice conversation with the coordinator who gave me a tour. He invited me on their Springfield trip tomorrow, and I indicated I would love to go, but I just want to work. He took no offense to that whatsoever, and indicated it was just sort of a vacation for them, some time for them to relax, so it was fine.

Just for a short 3 seconds I mentioned this website, and he never heard of it. I had a bad experience on the DU yesterday. 50% of the people flamed me because they did not like what I had to say even though it was a sincere attempt to improve things. I can continue to be bashed bullied and banged around, but I'm not going to spend a night doing the same toward others.

people flamed you because it seemed like you weren't paying attention to what they were saying.

The fact is, there is really nothing to do in Illinois now. Obama is going to win Illinois. You can give money and/or you can phone bank to people in other states. That's really it. (Closer to the election, they'll want volunteers to canvass and GOTV). Next time you go to the office, ask if there is a list of people in Indiana you can call. (I'm in Maryland, and the only thing to do is call Pennsylvania).

I don't know why you want to blame the victim. I'm not flaming anyone else, never will, and nobody forced them to do it, that's how they decided to spend their night.
