A weekend announcement seems unlikely as well. The rumors that Obama would make an appearance on Saturday with his VP don't appear to be substantiated with anything official.

So that would leave the Convention.

Monday?

Tuesday?

Wednesday?

Imagine a stadium full of people all waiting for Obama, then 70,000 plus cell phones and pagers going off at once.

2. I seriously doubt even he could wait THAT long
and he'd better not because I'm already disappointed since he didn't pick me to go to the convention to meet him. ;)

6. I didn't say he wouldn't have a rally in Springfield on Saturday.
I'm saying there's nothing but rumors to support the idea that the VP will be there with him. As far as I know.

Have you got any?

13. Uh.
He's been showing up at plenty of rallies without a running mate.

What's so important about this one?

KO and Tweety are doing a live show tomorrow starting around noon for Obama's VP announcement in Illinois.

I doubt that Olbermann would have said that last night if they werent certain it was going to happen.

Tweety on the other hand......

11. During the Olympics makes sense with all those millions of viewers. Certainly more viewers than the
evening news.

12. They could carry the cycle from evening news through the event (inside)
With 'breakaways' during slow moments during olympic coverage w/ news division.
