The right-wing media goes out of its way to marginalize and ignore Obama, while they kiss McCain's ass and try to make him look cool.

But the media can't ignore this!!! They can't ignore the buzz around Obama's VP pick, they can't keep it off the airwaves - there's so much buzz that they have to cover it, repeat Obama's name every 30 seconds, and prattle on about how long before Obama reveals his nominee.

In other words, it's exactly what the doctor ordered as far as getting Obama's name out there, increasing the name recognition, and getting some neurons firing in the reptile brains of the undecided LIVs and getting some more votes.

I don't know how all the DUers missed that. They said the two of them would make their first joint campaign appearance as running mates at the Old Capitol Building in Springfield, IL at noon tomorrow.

He wouldn't very well announce his running mate with the running mate not present. And *with* the running mate present it would most certainly qualify as a joint campaign appearance. So it follows this is when and where the announcement takes place.
