All I've seen is their lies, smears, greed and incompentence being rewarded, not punished. The Republican party and conservatism as a philosphy should be dead and buried, but that isn't reality by a long shot.

...we'd all like to see instant retribution, but whatever powers that be may have a different time scale, maybe it's measured in generations and not in moments.

In terms of this campaign, I think Obama has been holding back so that when counterattacks are launched, they are done with the greatest effect.

It's not time yet.

Still, I'm sure there has always been plenty of face-time for the other party on the news shows. Who knows, maybe it will be a good contrast - optimism and enthusiasm vs. snide comments and negativity.
