I am beginning to think it did. If so it was a good strategy. Let it fester all day while the news idiots on cable stick their thumbs up their butts waiting for something to happen with nothing else to talk about.

1. Problem is, the McOpoly Story has all but disappeared.
It's been crushed by the heavy weight of the Obama VP Drama Story.

An unfortunate side effect, I'm afraid. :-(

5. It's still out there...
And Obama's team see the value in letting it boil for a day or two.

I wouldn't be surprised if they let it go for the weekend. The MSM may not be covering it, but you can bet that 'Seven Houses' is the hot topic in offices all over the country.

6. Not unfotunate at all, the damage has been done
John McCain doesn't know how many homes he owns.

Do you know how many homes you own?

Better yet, other than John McCain, do you know of ANY-FUCKING-BODY who is so out of touch with reality that they don't know how many homes they own?

10. Well, I do like that meme someone here posted earlier today:
OBAMA: One House, One Spouse!

12. An announcement would have killed it in the crucial 24 hour window
I think that letting it cycle through a full day is a better strategy than announcing yesterday would have been. When it comes it will everything else for sure. By letting McCain house story run a while it will be easier to keep pulling it out next week at the convention.

2. Hehe, Probably

Good theory. For a media-savvy campaign, it might have. I love the concept.

After all this wait, I just hope it's not Evan Bayh.

8. No kidding.
After all of this, I think I would just be crushed if it was Bayh.

3. Probably. I think this whole thing grew into something they hadn't anticipated.

4. Absolutely
"That's gold, Jerry! GOLD!" The best technique is to get out of McCain's way and let him look like an idiot without Obama lifting a finger. When you get that, you gotta milk it for all it's worth.

11. Let McCondo story fire burn a little more for good measure
It's a gift that will keep on giving. I think it's pretty much like how the Repigs used the Kerry (I voted for it before I voted against it) statement.

This will zonk McCain if we keep it up.

13. If Obama is smart, it did, and he IS that
Why let McCain off the hook for something that is already decided,
and would only help McBush by getting his studpidity buried under
the rush of headlines that will dominate all else when Obama announces?
