I am praying for Romney...
...and that is pretty interesting cuz I am an atheist ... that McShame picks the Mittens as his VP choice.

Anyone else think like I do that a McShame-Mittens ticket is a sure loser?

:hi: Just curious...

1. We could just let them debate and insult each other again
e.g., McCain to Romney - sure, you're the change candidate (as in flip-flop)

2. It "might" win back over some of the northern "fiscal conservatives"
But it will alienate the fundies even more.

I do love that man's hair though...so Franky Avalon meets Ricardo Maltoban...maybe that's why he like John McCain. His skin reminds him of "fine Corinthian leather".

5. This atheist is praying for him to pick Lieberman...
IMO, a McLie ticket would be the biggest loser of them all.

6. Your prayers
will be answered. The republican faction headed by Bush the Elder appear to be putting Willard Mitt Romney for McCain's ticket. This is not who McCain wants; like all of the other candidates in their primary, he despised Romney. But McCain is unlikely to reject the group's decision.

This has to be upsetting, even for a man who is fully willing to humiliate himself in order to be president. It is worse than snuggling with Bush Jr., or kissing Jerry Falwell's behind. McCain knows that when Romney withdrew from the primary, his speech was the beginning of his 2012 campaign.

The Elders Group knows that Obama will beat McCain. Putting Romney on as VP allows Mitt to continue the themes from the speech when he withdrew. If the republicans in Congress can frustrate Obama's attempts at reform, then in 2012 Romney will run on the "I Told You So!" platform.

7. Is there a winning McCain ticket?
If he puts a woman on the ticket, it would be pure pandering. But, I can't think of a Republican that would actually do anything good for the ticket. Besides, it's not like they're running on the issues...
