I want to File a Law Suit Alleging that John McCain is not a natural born citizen, and is therefore
disqualified from the off of POTUS. Any lawyers out there? I know a few who might be able to help me.

I'd like to file it AFTER the repub convention.

Thanks. :)

5. Before you file it, you had better read US Code Title 8, Section 1401.
He could have been born while his family was vacationing in France and still be a citizen. You might have a better chance, though, questioning his qualifications on "mental capacity," or the fact that he might not be human.

14. He is a Natural Born Citizen? Born on US SOIL, as per the requirement?
The reason I ask is because I fear this could be a slippery slope to things like "President Kissinger" or "President Schwarzennagger" because of our loose interpretation of the Constitution.

Scalia's a constructionist, no? I'm just sayin'...

8. "Natural born" is the issue, not "citizen."

This is about the Constitution, not naturalization law.

12. The Panama Canal Zone was considered US Territory at the time
And people born there would be considered Natural Born citizens.

20. Panama didn't get partial contol back until Carter
And then it wasn't until 2000 when it completely turned over.

In fact at the time when Bush invaded Panama in order to kidnap his minion Noriega people in my family thought that it was some avoid forking over the canal zone since it's so unlike this country to give back land they've taken. (See Guantanamo Bay)

10. He is a citizen, but if Obama has to prove his by showing his
birth certificate, McPanama should have to prove his by showing not only his birth certificate, but his parents'. One of his parents has to be a citizen for McPanamanian to be one.

11. Would you please not disparage Panama?
Being called Panamanian should not be considered a pejorative.

At any rate McLoser was born in the Panama Canal Zone which was considered US territory at the time and as such is a US citizen.

My parents OTOH were born in Panama City and Colon and had to become naturalized citizens. See the difference?

I shall refrain from discussing how absolutely apoplectic people in this country would be if a large and commercially important swath of this country was considered not part of this country.

18. Of course. If McLoser had not been born in the Canal Zone, he still
might have been a citizen under the right conditions. See the statute.

I did not mean to disparage Panama, only McLoser. It's a poke at those who claim Obama is Kenyan. If Obama is Kenyan, McSame is Panamanian.

And it was intruiging how the right demanded to see Obama's birth certificate, never done with any Presidential candidate before, without also realizing that if Obama had to prove his citizenship with his birth certificate, if they treated McSame equally, he would have to provide his own and one of his parent's, because that law requires that for McSame to be considered a citizen, one of his parents had to be a US Citizen.
