10. this is actually one of my favorite attack ads
because it's so sarcastic when the image of the house with the foreclosure sign comes up, "hmm." i've been waiting for dems to hit back like this for so long.

5. Barack's gonna have to make a new one
called TEN

bwhahahahhahahaha....
not only is McCain clueless about how many mansions he owns,
but when given the chance, he can't even tell the truth about it !!!!!
Four? Seven? Eight? TEN ???!!!!!
What is it Johnnie ????

9. i was thinking about this yesterday
and about if it had been a slow news cycle, the media would have hopefully jumped on the seven thing and asked why they didn't say ten, such that the campaign would have purposefully set up a feeding frenzy about how they "undershot" the number of houses and the story would have stuck around. yeah, i know that's fickle, but it could be a trial to see how in the future you could dominate a news cycle by having the media expose even more about mccain than a certain ad intended to. this is all wishful thinking anyway.

i briefly heard some guy last night spinning this as an attack on cindy, saying "i thought barack obama was going to refrain from attacking cindy mccain," seeing as most of these properties are in her name.

haha. this mccampaign is bringing out the worst cliches about mcpublicans.

11. Cindy probably knows exactly how many houses they have
I think the bigger point is that McDuffer is just clueless and out of touch.
Dare I say... senile.

14. although i wish this were later in the mccampaign
i mean, look how no one's talking about the celebrity thing anymore.

i know for my part i had a shred of respect for john mccain before 2000, but now he and his mccampaign have shot it to shit with all of the ridiculous premises they've been spewing these past few months

15. A 'shred of respect' for the GOP (of any flavor)
.., can only end in tears. Ask the children of Iraq.

20. "We apologize but we misspoke earlier about the number of John McCain's homes."
Edited on Fri Aug-22-08 09:57 AM by YOY
The Obama campaign feel that it has done a grave disservice to the American people by not telling them the truth about the number of homes that John McCain owns in today's unsure housing economy. John McCain does NOT own 7 homes. He owns 11."
