Between the Voters Who Hate McCain and Those that Hate Romney in the GOP

who will be voting for a McCain-Romney ticket? A bunch of hypocrits and fanatical GOP diehards? Disaffected Democrats?

If the GOP is counting on racism to carry them back into the White House, I think and hope they will be very disappointed. I'm hoping we are a better people than that.

3. People still don't get it?

For these people the things they supposedly believe in are secondary to their hatred of liberals and democrats. That hatred is so strong that they will ALWAYS vote against that no matter how much hypocricy is involved in that vote. Plain and simple.

5. Do we know *why* they hate liberals so much?

To me, liberalism means standing up for fairness, equality, and justice. Is that what they hate?

America is a liberal democracy (as opposed to a monarchy or a dictatorship). Is that what they hate?

The Constitution is a liberal document, in fact it is a triumph of liberalism. Is that what they hate?

Jesus, while never mentioning abortion and gay sex, talks constantly about helping the poor and less fortunate, a concern liberals share. Is that what they hate?

Can it actually be that our right-wing wacko friends are proudly, self-righteously fighting against fairness, equality, justice, America, the Constitution, and Jesus? That's a lot of hate.

Maybe we should turn it around. What do these people like? Guns, war, a made-up warrior God, money, power, perverted sex, hating gays? Did I leave anything out?

6. A combination of insecurity, selfishness, and the media

The media has allowed the right over time to paint this picture of liberals and democrats as cowards (which politically is right, but not in terms of causes), atheists, and willing to give jobs and money away to people who don't work. They've turned everything around.

So it's a combination of people who have little and are insecure about their own worth and value who need to lash out at people with less than them...it's the wealthy and the selfish...and it's people who want to have some kind of macho attitude.

They hate us because equality, fairness and justice deprive them of their sense of superiority.
