BREAKING HARD: Mccain has settled on Mitt Romney as VP choice-sorry dupe
Edited on Thu Aug-21-08 10:36 PM by RMP2008
This is a duplicate post but I'll leave it up since it's fascinating.

Acccording to 2 GOP sources.

Just in on Mark Halperin's page at time.com. The link doesn't work if I post it sorry.

2 GOP Sources: It’s Romney
Two Republicans who know say McCain has settled on Mitt Romney as his running mate.
Developing...Meanwhile: If you are the wagering type, bet on Obama announcing Joe Biden as his running mate on Saturday.

4. Now with the Dem choice about to be made all the speculation is on the GOP side
For a couple of days the front runner will be Romney. Then Pawlenty. Then Lieberman and then the real choice...whoever that may be.

13. I think that the bush faction and other big money people want Romney
IMO, whether or not it is Romney will be a test of how much power they still have.

21. So let me get this straight...
On the very day that the story breaks about John McCain not knowing how many homes he has and he is facing elitism charges he lets it leak that his VP candidate is going to be even more wealthy than he is. All I can say is wow, this has to be the dumbest Presidential campaign ever.
