Matthews is completely wrong when he says that Kerry is the one who started this at the Democratic campaign when he said "reporting for duty" and surrounded himself with vets.

What about the Chimp in the flightsuit??????? What about "Mission Accomplished"??????? What about the Chimp calling himself a "War President"? What about the Chimp saying that he learned lessons from Vietnam??? Bush has raised this issue by suggesting that he is a war-tried President, one who has already faced adversity as the commander-in-chief of an army on the battlefield. Kerry merely took up the gauntlet.

Why the hell doesn't Matthews see this?
