KTLK News just said that The Text Message would be going out
"sometime tomorrow"

No idea if the Obama campaign has indicated that, or if it's just (more) conjecture.

1. We're running out of days
so "sometime tomorrow" might just be true. Tomorrow "sometime tomorrow" will be Saturday and that might also be true. :-)

It is what it is. We'll know when we know.

4. Obama could wait until Wednesday to spring his Veep to the convention
The political chatter class has nothing to talk about.

2. Well, it has to be before Springfield
Edited on Thu Aug-21-08 07:11 PM by darius15
so sometime between now and Saturday

my guess is that he will announce AT Springfield, which means we'd know Saturday.

8. I've read conflicting reports about Springfield --
both that the VP will be there, and that s/he won't be there.

3. Here's Where It Happens...

The same place Senator Obama announced the start of his campaign on a very cold day in Feb '07...the same building Abraham Lincoln served as an "inexperienced" Illinois state legislator.

Sure looks like the Obama campaign may just keep the spinners chasing their tails until noon on Saturday. I'm thinking of hopping in the car and taking the 4 hour ride to see this moment in history. Looks like the Obama team has played the "expectations game" well here...whomever is the pick, it will make a big splash going into Denver...all but suck the air out of Camp Gramps for at least a week.

7. Yep. I dreamed about going to 'Annie' the other night.
And you've just helped interpret why, LOL. This is worse than Christmas when I was a kid. I. Can't. Stand. It!
