3. Obama leads by 24 points in the "who's running a negative
campaign" question.

But only three points in the overall support.

Moral: Flush this nice guy approach down the goddamn toilet where it belongs.

Nice guys LOSE. Don't be a nice guy!

9. Negative campaigning question:
Who's running a negative campaign?

Neither: 41%
Both: 19%
Only McCain: 29%
Only Obama: 5%

the moral is that McCain went negative, people noticed, but it wound up helping him anyways.

Negativity works. Scorched earth works.

New kind of politics? Feh.

7. Why can't McCain close the deal?
I mean, gee, it's the middle of August already and she should have closed the deal back in April.

11. Polls Schmolls.....just meaningless noise. What bothers me are the braindead undecideds!
What could they possibly be undecided about? Have they been sleeping under a rock during Bush's disaster presidency? don't they see that McCone is just more of the same? Give me a break...

13. McCain, 72, new poll numbers.
I'm waiting to see CNN post his name and age alongside a phrase with the word poll in it, so that it will look like he's polling at 72.
