Team Obama needs to plan an event during McSame's VP announcement
to steal the thunder. He wants to soften the Obama bounce from the convention by announcing his VP on the 29th. We need to return the favor to control the news!!!

1. right!
He might, for instance, announce his cabinet. Or part of it. A cabinet party!

2. I would hold a huge post convention rally in Chicago or something
get a giant crowd, electric speech with him and his VP. McClown's embarassing VP rollout will be forgot.

 Oh yeah on edit bring Bill Clinton with him

Please tell me McCain will be speaking and it won't just be the VP candidate. The contrast is always good.

6. McCain turns 72 on August 29
We could have a birthday party for him congratulating him for being the oldest person EVER to run for President. Maybe have gifts of Depends, coupons and perhaps people dressed up as very old people in a parade...

This would be a grassroots event...

8. I know...
It would have to be done humorously... and since no one has a sense of humor anymore and wants to play the "victim"... never mind...

9. Just saying if it made it on the news
Edited on Tue Aug-19-08 10:08 PM by Jake3463
the Greatest Generation night I'm looking to plan would probably have a lower turn out than it would if it hadn't.

In PA they are making 72,000 phone calls to independents on McCain's 72nd Birthday. Its more productive.

10. He's also going to advertise during our convention...
which I've been told isn't done. I say Obama return the favor every chance he gets. With more class! (Remember McCain's speech the night Obama won the primaries?)
