i usually am out driving during lunch, i listen to rush as it is the only talk radio thing on during that time. i like to keep an eye on the liar supreme.

i mention rush whenever i like. no one has any reason to accuse me of anything other than listening to a rolly-polly fact distorting lying turd ball.

The 13 pages is just the intro. There's a box at the top of the page to access the accounts and epilogue. Unfortunately, there are no pictures--which were many and important to the book's message (by all accounts--I haven't seen them).

I was very glad to get this link. I had just been over at Amazon reading some of the "reviews". Apparently Limbaugh had sent his minions off to trash the book. There were a few favorable reviews, though, and these were worth reading. (For example, a common RW slur of the book is to point to the upside-down flag in the cover picture. But one of the book's defenders points out that the upside-down flag is a distress signal. I don't know personally if this is true, but it seems that this is indeed the message of the book, so I'm inclined to believe it. Does anyone know about this?)

I'm going to go back now and read the accounts by the soldiers... (I came back just to let people know that all the text is at that site.)

Yup, it's true. In fact, IIRC, there's even an upside-down flag available in the avatar section here.

If you are ever out on a boat & in trouble, turn your flag upside down. Or at the lake, most of us have flags at lake cottages; turn it upside down.

Carry a flag in your car when you travel, and if in triuble, place it upside down in your window so other drivers will know you need help.

There's nothing spooky in it. The pictures of the Gold Star mothers is heartbreaking, the picture of the vets with the Daughters of the American Revolution is priceless.
