Does McCain finally realize what people on the internet can do? He may not care much about the latest viral video. However, he does not understand that he is not the master of his own narrative. People will research his claims, and can go deep into the record with little effort. If his modus operandi is to make shit up in order to ingratiate himself to people, he'll find, should he become president, his claims constantly challenged. He simply won't be able to govern effectively.
