Obama performing brilliantly! My GOD...
Watching him on MSNBC at this "compassion forum" thing...

My GOD...

I told my girlfriend this evening (she and I are both into this race heavily) that this is Obama's night to lose. He is not pandering to the religious right, he is pandering to common sense.

His night should be all about winning the spiritual moderates, and he is acing this thing six ways to Sunday!

McCain is going to get out and pander to the hard right, because it's his weakness. He's going to alienate the moderates and come off looking like, to use the word again, pandering old coot.

GOBAMA!

1. "pandering to common sense"
that is a great way of describing what he is doing.

2. Everyone thinks that McCain is more moderate than he actually is,
and also think that Obama is more far left than he actually is. This is a win-win situation for Obama.

5. But but but McCain is a "maverick."
I know he's a maverick, because his corporate-sponsored TV ads say so.

3. Joe Scarborough and the right-wingers will pick him apart
on Monday. They'll twist and distort.
They're such scum.

6. I'm sitting here a nervous wreck and Obama is sliding right through these answers.
He's doing it as though he is listening to the questions closely and giving an honest and forthright reply. I'm sure they will slice and dice it before the night is over, but I'll bet he is changing some minds.

He is showing he is human and that he is going to tell it like it is...like it or not...and intends to get the job done, whether it is world-wide, nationwide or on the street where you live.

I'm ready to relax and watch the ending. I have a feeling McCain is going to screw his interview up, royally.

Go, Obama!

18. Polar opposite in the overall vibe I think
Obama left me with a feeling of hopefulness and striving for a better world.

I expect McCant will be all scare and fear fostering. Pushing the drill to the wildlife.

22. does he always have to talk about being a POW?
mc whine's turn now

speak about something relevant to being president! it isn't a gift position for the person who suffered the most! quite your whining mc pity me.

god.

he's still going, even after the comerical break! and now he's saying he's been saved? from what? I don't see an iota of true christianity in his behavior. how could he have been tortured and not grow and become someone who abhors war, as Clark does? Oh my gosh i think he's going to cry. spare me, god.

nothing he says is even related to the question, as dh keeps screaming at the tv.

(comment reserved for mcsame, not all or any other POW's who honored our country)

23. MSM Buzz Will NOT BE About Obama's Amazing Performance
but the constant applauding McCain is getting.

Partisan crowd - they weren't really interested in what Obama had to say.
